Michael Korpi
Michael H. Korpi received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Washington in 1978, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1981. Prior to joining Donaldson & Kiel in 1992, Mr. Korpi had nine years of civil trial practice. He is responsible for the firmÕs collection department and is the co-author (with Duane Kiel and Kirk McKenzie, former principals of Donaldson & Kiel, P.S.) of A Compendium of Case Law Concerning the Enforcement and Recovery of the Contribution Obligation for Labor-Management Benefit Funds and Payroll Auditing, updated yearly for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Mr. Korpi also represents employee benefit plans in Washington and Oregon on consultation issues.
